Study: Foods to Lower cholesterol

Great WSJ article! It states that eating more tree-based fats and proteins lowers cholesterol better than eating diet foods that are low in saturated fats. A must read for anyone who is struggling with high cholesterol.

                  Protein Puppy Chow

1 1/2-2 cups kashi cereal or quaker oatmeal squares cereal

1-1 1/2 TBS Krema PB

1 square ghirardelli dark chocolate

1/2 scoop protein powder

Measure out 1 1/2 -2 cups cereal in large bowl

Melt the PB and chocolate in microwave for 30-45 seconds or until melted(depending on the microwave power, time will vary)

Pour PB and Chocolate over cereal and mix well

Add the protein powder and mix well so all the cereal has a light dusting

Transfer to tupperware or enjoy immediately!

Great for snacking!

Our Laps-4-Love Fruitcake Toss!

Well… as you can see it was more of a launch! We launched fruitcakes at targets with water balloon launchers and half pound fruitcake for the “Make-A-Wish Foundation!!!

Challenges included –

Closest to the flag

Longest distance- approx. 110 yards!

In the Goal – Lacrosse goal

Field goal – about 60 yards out!
