Meet Baby Bruce : Here are the Fruitcake Sisters, my mom (left) with my Aunt Nanette (right), and the newest little peanut to fall off of our nutty family tree   He is my cousin Danny’s first son and my Aunt Nanette’s newest grandson – Bruce Wayne!!  He is named after both of his great-grandfathers, one named Wayne and the other Bruce (who is my grandfather).  Baby Bruce was born on Friday, February 19th and he weighed 8 lbs. 14 oz!  (I think his mother was snacking on lots of PB sandwiches while she was pregnant – smart girl )

Meet My Grandfather, Bruce : This is me and my amazing Grandfather making Whole Wheat Pancakes (though I can never quite make them as yummy as he can).  My Grandpa is awesome.  So kind and compassionate, he is truly incredible.  Though his only two daughters are the self-proclaimed “Fruitcake Sisters,” I think the rest of us have turned out pretty well   J/K mom and Auntie Nanette!  I love you girls!

Welcome to our crazy family baby Bruce!  You’ve got a lot to live up to with a name like Bruce Wayne…not to mention you’ve been born into a family who openly admits you’ll have an uncle named Crazy Richard and and Aunt and Grandma who go by the alias – The Fruitcake Sisters!
